ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – The City of Roanoke is offering the “Bank on Roanoke Valley Financial Wellness Series” for residents.
According to officials, this is a six-month program with a limited capacity of 15 participants, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Roanoke officials say volunteers from the Bank On Roanoke Valley Education Network will lead monthly workshops, helping participants fine-tune their finances and set goals that make their money work for them.
The series is set to run from October 28, 2025, through March 31, 2026, with workshops held on the last Tuesday of each month at the Envision Center from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
According to officials, this program is open to residents of the City of Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, Botetourt, Franklin, Roanoke, and Craig Counties. Participants have to attend all sessions to be eligible for any rewards or incentives.
