KALAMAZOO, MICH. — FlavorSum has opened its 35,000-square-foot expansion at its Kalamazoo, Mich., facility. FlavorSum said the facility will increase and enhance the site’s emulsion, extraction and warehousing capacity along with investment in process automation to increase efficiency, quality and safety.
The on-site innovation center pilot plant features new UHT and HTST processing capabilities to support the company’s Dairy Center of Excellence, the company said.
FlavorSum currently operates two innovation centers in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mississauga, Ont., and is opening a 10,000-square-foot innovation center in Marlton, NJ.
