Deputy President William Ruto’s son Nick Ruto has spoken for the first time regarding his marriage to Evelyn Chemtai.
The two got married in an exquisite traditional ceremony held at Windy Ridge, Karen, Nairobi, on Saturday.
The ceremony was a private affair and it caught many Kenyans by surprise since the scion had not hinted at his dating life before.
The bride was also not familiar to many Kenyans
In a statement on Facebook, Nick wrote a message of gratitude to all those who graced the function.
He also confirmed that the event was a success.
“Yesterday, we met our families as culture demands. She said Yes, I said Yes, They said Yes, We said Yes. Special thanks for your support and prayers. Evelyne đź’Ť Nick,” he stated.
