Senator Jon Ossoff announces $11.8 million federal investment to a rural Georgia hospital.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ga (WRBL) — Senator Jon Ossoff held a press conference to announce a major federal investment to Randolph County Health Care.

On Wednesday, April 17 Senator Ossoff announced the historic $11.8 million dollar investment that was added to the recent bipartisan budget measure. This is the first step toward restoring health care access to Cuthbert and Randolph County.

The Southwest Georgia Regional Medical Center was the only accessible health care facility in Randolph County and surrounding areas.  This federal investment comes as a necessary tool for families in Georgia who are affected by the lack of access to healthcare in rural areas.
