For the Marietta College men’s basketball team, there will be no dwelling on what was an extremely successful start to the 2023-24 campaign.

The Pioneers defeated a solid Washington & Jefferson team Friday knocking preseason No. 1 and defending national champion Christopher Newport on Saturday.

“It was a huge weekend for us,” said Marietta head coach Jon VanderWal. “Washington & Jefferson is a big win.
