JAMESTOWN — Jamestown Regional Medical Center announced the opening of the JRMC Women’s Walk-In Clinic. The clinic will support more urgent women’s health issues that might otherwise require a trip to the emergency department.
Walk-in services specifically dedicated to the unique care of women is a first in Jamestown.
“Women can have urgent issues that they suffer through when they can’t readily access care,” said Makenzie Breitbach, OB/GYN nurse practitioner. “We want to eliminate the wait time for concerns that we can address immediately.”
The JRMC Women’s Walk-In Clinic offers diagnosis and treatment for conditions such as urinary tract infections, abnormal vaginal discharge, abnormal menstrual periods, sudden onset uterine pain, sexually transmitted infection testing and breast pain.
