In the last week, police have observed a spike in unlawful entry and stealing of precious metals (Copper wiring) and tolls, in the night time hours within the industrial area of Geebung.
As a result of this reported spike police have had extra patrols, both marked and covert, within the area.
At approximately midnight on Sunday, May 12, a business on Bilsen Road, Geebung, was alerted to unusual activity via CCTV, prompting the owner to immediately contact the police.
A short time later, police attended the business and detained three men. A search was conducted on their vehicle, where police allegedly found stolen property.
Police subsequently arrest and charged the men with Enter premises and commit an indicatable offence.
