Expo has business-to-business focus | News

WINCHESTER — Members of the business community had the opportunity to show what they could offer each other and the public at the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber’s annual business expo Thursday at Shenandoah University’s Brandt Student Center.

“There’s a lot of good buzz,” chamber program development director Jody Wall said. “People are definitely communicating with other businesses and that was our goal — give the chamber business members exposure.”

Exposure is something Tammy Bjelland could use. A former assistant professor of Spanish at SU, she opened Shenandoah Valley Language Services last summer at 7 E. Hart St. in Winchester.
