Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson will deliver his second State of the City address Tuesday — where he’ll discuss the city’s accomplishments over the past year and lay out its challenges throughout 2024.

The speech, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Terrace Theater, 300 E. Ocean Blvd, is free and open to the public with registration. It’ll kick off shortly after the City Council’s first meeting of the new year, which will get underway at 3:30 p.m.
