Senator Kristin Corrado’s (R-40) bill to study the economic impact of New Jersey’s military installations to determine the overall impact on the State gross domestic product passed the Senate Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
“New Jersey’s military installations are a major driver of our State’s economy, providing high-quality careers at our unmatched research and development facilities,” said Sen. Corrado. “The better we understand their full economic impact, the better we can plan, invest, and protect these assets for the long term. This study will give us the data we need to make informed decisions, strengthen our military partners, and ensure these installations continue to support economic growth across New Jersey.”
