EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — A Mifflin County man was convicted today of tax evasion as he failed to pay his income taxes as well as his businesses.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, a federal jury convicted Brandon Aumiller, 55, of Milroy, Mifflin County on Thursday, April 11, on tax evasion for his role in a years-long scheme to evade the payment of his income taxes and his business`s employment taxes.
U.S. Attorneys say Brandon Aumiller owned Brandon Aumiller & Associates, an insurance sales company. Officials say for tax years 2007, and 2009 through 2011, Aumiller filed personal income tax returns reporting that he owed around $82,311 in income taxes.
